I am a design director, storyteller and typographer with extensive experience shaping the visual direction of long-form print and digital stories. The stories I have worked on have reached a global audience and inspired curiosity, exploration, and change. Over the years, I've had the honor and great pleasure to work with the world's best photographers, photo editors and visual thinkers.

I excel at leading teams to find the most compelling way to tell a story. I foster constructive collaboration with all stakeholders in the creative process. I bring a sophisticated understanding of typography and design to my work, seeking the most effective way to visualize a subject. I'm open to all ideas and embrace the unpredictable nature of discovering the best ones.

My work has been recognized by The Society of Publication Designers, The American Society of Magazine Editors (The National Magazine Awards), The Society for News Design, World Press Photo Foundation, and The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (The Webby Awards).
